About the Journal
Islamic Cultural Studies Journal (ICSJ) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes scholarly work on Islamic culture, civilization, thought, history, society, education, art, language, heritage, ethics, and contemporary Muslim communities. The journal provides a platform for researchers, lecturers, postgraduate students, and cultural scholars who examine Islamic traditions and their interaction with social, historical, educational, political, and global contexts. ICSJ welcomes interdisciplinary approaches that connect Islamic studies with cultural studies, history, sociology, anthropology, education, communication, philosophy, literature, heritage studies, and contemporary social analysis.

Aims and Scope
ICSJ aims to advance critical and constructive scholarship on Islamic cultural life, intellectual traditions, social practices, and contemporary Muslim societies. The journal publishes research on Islamic civilization, religious education, cultural heritage, Qur’anic studies, Arabic language, Islamic art, ethics, interfaith relations, social values, and the role of Islam in modern public life. Its scope includes historical, textual, qualitative, comparative, conceptual, and interdisciplinary studies. ICSJ particularly welcomes manuscripts that examine how Islamic cultural resources contribute to education, social cohesion, ethical reflection, community development, and intercultural understanding.

Call for Papers
ICSJ invites original manuscripts on Islamic culture, civilization, education, heritage, language, ethics, and contemporary Muslim societies. Scholars, lecturers, postgraduate students, and researchers are encouraged to submit empirical studies, textual analyses, historical research, conceptual papers, literature reviews, and interdisciplinary manuscripts. Chapters may discuss Islamic intellectual traditions, Qur’anic interpretation, Arabic scholarship, religious moderation, Islamic education, interfaith dialogue, Islamic art and architecture, or contemporary Muslim cultural practices. Contributions should provide strong conceptual grounding, relevant literature engagement, and critical reflection on social or cultural significance. Authors are encouraged to develop chapters that show how Islamic cultural perspectives contribute to education, ethical life, social harmony, heritage preservation, and global scholarly dialogue.

ICSJ supports conferences and academic forums on Islamic cultural studies, Islamic education, civilization, heritage, language, ethics, and Muslim society. Suggested tracks include Islamic civilization, Qur’anic studies, Arabic language, Islamic education, cultural heritage, Islamic art, religious moderation, interfaith dialogue, Muslim identity, and Islam in digital society.
