Plagiarism is defined as the use of ideas, data, or words from another source without proper acknowledgment. This includes, but is not limited to:

Even when unintentional, plagiarism is considered a serious violation of academic ethics and is unacceptable in scholarly publication.
Authors must ensure that:
- All sources are properly cited using appropriate referencing styles
- Direct quotations are clearly indicated using quotation marks
- Any sequence of four or more identical consecutive words from another source must be quoted and cited appropriately
- All submitted manuscripts are original and have not been published elsewhere
Journal.my.id applies strict plagiarism screening procedures using reliable similarity detection tools such as:
- Turnitin
- iThenticate
- Other advanced plagiarism detection systems
Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding acceptable thresholds (generally above 20%, excluding references and common phrases) may be:
- Rejected prior to review
- Returned for revision
- Retracted if detected post-publication
The editorial board reserves the right to withdraw acceptance or retract published articles found to violate plagiarism policies.
